At last . . . .

the new flooring is in.  Staying home for two days while Dawn installed it was a plus.  It has been a long time since I've just sat and read a book--"The Street of a Thousand Blossoms."

Can't move in the piano or sofa until tomorrow, but everything else is in.  Its really nice to have a living room again after more than a month.  My bedroom is free of extra chairs etc. and I can move around the bed.  When the piano and sofa go back I get to have a kitchen also.  Book group discussing "Time of the Butterflies" will be my first guests on Tuesday.  They've never been to my home.  Polly and I have always shared hosting at her place.

I really, really like it.  My installer was a young woman from west of Ogden.  She has been installing for 17 years and learned it from her Grandpa.

New paint, new floor--done at last.  The one and only major improvement to my little cottage.  Glad I waited.  Not everyone has that luxury.

Later--
Decided to move my Romanian rug into the living room.
