April Chicks

A couple of weeks ago Danny took me to the garage first thing to see their new baby chicks.  Yesterday, Lily gave me a wonderful description of each of their 13 baby chicks.   This morning, so timely to discover this photo from Karen's fb comments. 

This picture was from early April.  The other highlight of Lily's conversation was much fun detail of playing among about 20 felled Douglas firs in their backyard.  Now they have sun for their garden and trees to sell.  But, in the meantime there are tons of places to play--tunnels, houses, on and on and on.  What a paradise.   All convenient for the inevitable slash burn pile in the fall.
