Take a look at Gus' birthday cake of Ding Dongs, now labeled as
Ding Dong Cure!
As I recall the recipe: Stacks of Ding Dongs smothered in chocolate ice cream, frosted with whipped cream and super-sprinkled with gummy bears and gummy worms.

| Rats! can't get this image turned around. |
Oakridge has had some good snow this winter. Gus had a good time x/c skiing with the family not far from home. He's also getting interested in racket ball at the gym in Eugene.

| This is one of my favorite shots from last year of Gus and Brad flying down the hill. |
 |
| Gus and friend. |

 |
| Gus' foxhole. |
 |
| His shop. |
 |
| His tree house under construction. I wonder what he will have added in a year. |
 |
| One more favorite photo. |
 |
| This is an amazing trick the family does which could be called "Lean on Me." They are four are leaning on each other above the floor, no chair or anything else for support other than each other. Now that's a message! |
Gus is already into scouting with Dad as scoutmaster in their Oakridge Branch.
Congratulations to him in taking on the responsibilities and opportunities of being a deacon.
Have a great year, Gus.
