Oakridge

The Oakridge Cousins have Skype video!!!  One more family to dumb around with and show and tell with on webcams.  Last night when I could see them and they couldn't see me we bagged the video and Heather sent a message with an interesting link.

I don't know that you'll have 50 minutes to spare at one time but, I've found a few bits of time to listen to the NPR piece, State of the Re: Union, Oakridge, OR.  This piece gives an historical and contemporary view of the town, not unlike Moab, boom and bust, and inching back....   Can't help but love Oakridge for its natural beauty of which the Wells have 2.33 acres.

In the event you want to give a listen

Its a recent episode showing changes up to this past year.  Don't miss the photos in the left sidebar, select "more photos" beneath the six in view.  They seem to illustrate the audio documentary. This is the photo link.
