It feels so good in my home today. It has been far too long since I've had a really good work Saturday. I'm guessing it was due to my work and play mate Griffin. David was returning from CA, Polly and Christopher were at the Salt Lake Temple and I got to be with Griffin.
First we played at Gardner Village. Polly supplied us with witch scavenger hunt lists with which we roamed the village looking for the humorous witches, then lunch at the Naborhood Bakery.
Then we worked. Griffin and I took down, hand washed on the driveway, and re-hung 10 metal blinds. I was beat! How would I have done it with out Griffin.
As a last gesture we brought up Nedra's chrome kitchen table set from my basement for my evolving art studio in the loft. Don't I sound artsy!!!
It was one wonderful blue sky day. In Julia Child's words a double blue sky day!
Hopefully, I'll finish Julia's "My Life in France" by Tuesday's book group at Polly's house. We are yet to come up with a Julia Child refreshment we can manage and serve.
